About Me

I'm Jessica Heck, and I've never met a plane I didn't like. Dangle me mid-cumulus cloud, hurtling toward anywhere, and I'll be in my happy place. When I had my first child, I figured I had given that up for good. Who has the money, the time, or the energy to travel with kids? And then my dusty passport started screaming my name. I sat up at night doing the math and realized it might. actually. be. possible

My husband, Nate, runs a non-profit educational YouTube channel called Artrageous with Nate. Little by little, his videos have been shifting from art-related how-tos to travel-focused content. Why? Because travel has changed our lives in so many ways and we want to inspire others to see the world.

 

Now, after our surprise COVID baby (#4), we're up against a new challenge. Can we travel as a family 6 on a reasonable budget and still have fun? I'm convinced we can. Why the heck not? (Pun intended.)
